Commodore
To all City Point Yacht Club Members Unfortunately, once again, most of the boats are out of the water and stored for the winter. It is hard to believe that Christmas and the New Year is just a few weeks away. We can look back over the last six months or so and say that there were many great times spent with friends on the water. It was truly a great boating season. I would like to thank each and every one of you for allowing me to serve as your Commodore for the past three years. I enjoyed my time in this role but I certainly could not have done it without the dedication and hard work from my officers. At this time, I would also like to thank Larry Lubenau for his many years serving as Permittee. This is a position that is very time consuming and Larry did a great job for us. With that being said, I congratulate Stan Rakiec for taking over as our new Permittee and wish him well in this additional position for him.
